Simple Pleasures #31
With the gas prices being so high I am really going to limit my trips, which means that once again I will be spending a lot of time at home.
Last week the weather was so beautiful I just wanted to spend a lot of time outdoors and soak it all in.
This week the temps have cooled off and it is overcast and rainy.
It has forced me to look around at the dust and clutter that has accumulated and that I have been turning a blind eye to.
I have written before about how I like to do my deep cleaning in the fall , but I have been slacking off and I need to do another deep clean now.
I think I will take things slow and do a few chores a day.
The cleaning police are not coming into my apartment to arrest me for dust bunnies.
While I lazily clean and organize I will do a few things to transition my home from winter to spring.

Hi Laura and Happy Friday. I think we are all itching for Spring to arrive. I have been changing up things with my decor for Spring. Just feels good to see winter on its way out and Spring around the corner. Have a great weekend. xoxo
ReplyDeleteHi Laura.... yes spring cleaning... needs to be done... my son was here to visit me last week and weekend and he helped me move some things, especially in my bedroom, and he vacuumed UNDER the bed which hadn't been done forever! That felt really good... so I feel like I have a good start on spring cleaning! I just do a little thing here and there too... and it always feels good.. like I'm making room for the warm air to flow into the house.... have a good weekend! Marilyn
ReplyDeleteBeing in Florida for the winter, I have completely lost track of what season it is. I keep thinking that it's going to be fall when I get home, and will be pleasantly reminded that spring is coming when I arrive. Regardless of the season, I will need to do some seasonal cleaning when I get there!
