Simple Pleasures #25
I think being able to laugh at yourself is really important.
I mean when everyone else is laughing at all of the dumb things you do you might as well join in.
Laughter can actually improve your health.
Laughter relaxes your body, boosts your immune system, triggers the release of endorphines, protects the heart, and may even help you to live longer.
I love to laugh. Even when things seem very bleak I try to find things to laugh about and people to laugh with.
So go ahead and belly laugh. It's good for you.

ReplyDeleteI absolutely love to laugh! I don't mind when someone laughs at me and laughing at myself is very good for me. LOL Laughter, along with a couple of other things, truly feeds my soul.
ReplyDeleteNothing is better than laughing so hysterically that you can't stop - it is definitely contagious! But even a little chuckle is good for the soul!
ReplyDeleteHi Laura! Great links. I think that I have to go by Pottery Barn to check out those plates. Hope you have a week filled with laughter!
ReplyDeleteNothing like a big belly laugh to make a person feel better. I totally agree. I can still get the giggles sometimes when I can't stop laughing! I love watching the TV news bloopers when the newscasters start laughing at something and just can't stop. Great medicine for the soul! Love that pottery barn pillow.. would go great in my bedroom. Take care.. Marilyn
