Simple Pleasures #19
Drinking hot chocolate in a Christmas mug is high on my list of priorities.
Inspired by Tessa I am devoting this week's Simple Pleasures to kids.
Tessa completed her second 5k run last Saturday and earlier in the week she received her second Covid vaccine. Go, Tessa.
Wednesday she Facetimed me and challenged me to get out my art supplies and make two quick puppets.
And now you know why I don't have a DIY blog.
However, what could be more of a simple pleasure than time spent with family.
Simple Inspiration
49 homemade Christmas ornaments for kids to make will help to keep small hands busy and will supply you with ornaments to cherish for years to come.
Tessa loves pompoms and I am betting she would love making this easy mini pompom Christmas tree
This penguin popsicle stick craft is what Tesa would call adorable.
27 easy no-bake Christmas treats are a perfect way to spend time in the kitchen with the kids and no little fingers will get burned.
If you are looking for some no-sugar snacks for the kids check out these 24 cute and healthy Christmas snacks.
Favorite Gluten-Free Recipe This Week
The buzzword here is pizza. Almost everyone loves pizza and in my family when pizza is ordered we have to accommodate gluten-free, vegan, gluten and lactose-free, vegetarian, and Tessa.
Tessa like most kids is picky and refers to herself as a baconpescaterian. In other words she eats baon and fish. She does love olives of all kinds and especially when they are on pizza.
I think I found a pizza crust for everyone in the family. Add any topping you like.

Love all these ideas for the kiddos. That hot cocoa looks yummy. Enjoy. xoxo
ReplyDeleteThe time spent with Tessa is the best gift of all! Had to laugh about your pizza accomodations for the family. And "baconpescaterian" is hilarious!
