Is there anything more joyful than a child with her new puppy?
Tessa is so in love with Louis (pronounced like Louis Armstrong).
That look on her face says it all.
Louis is a golden doodle/springer spaniel mix and he is a very smart and very sweet ten week old puppy. (yes he is going to be a big dog, projected to weigh in at around 60 pounds when fully grown.)
The very first day Tessa taught him to sit. I had a shihtzu for 12 years who just looked at me like I was crazy when I told her to sit.
We had a lot of fun running around the yard playing. Okay, they played and I got dizzy trying to film them.
I am in a slowed down holiday mood and will be settling down with the new book I picked up yesterday.
All of that running around I didn't do yesterday really tired me out.
It's a new Stephanie Plum mystery by Janet Evanovich and I can't wait to dig into it.

Time to whip up some hot chocolate and toss the unopened mail off my ottoman so that I can put my feet up.

ReplyDeleteOh such a sweet puppy! I had a Water Spaniel springer mix when I was in my 20's.. she was my pal and companion for 16 years and I loved her dearly. That breed is so sweet and loyal and wonderful! I also love Stephanie Plum mysteries and have read many. It's been awhile so will have to get caught up.. yes I'm in slow down mode now as almost everything is done.. so the 24th will be my relax day, food day and TV day.. with hot cocoa of course and maybe some popcorn (or a little wine spritzer?).
