Christmas didn't turn out quite as planned this year. All three of my grandchildren have covid (yes they are fully vaccinated).
Cary took this photo of the kids at their outdoor Christmas morning covid breakfast table.
Sidney tested positive on Tuesday, Tessa on Wednesday, and Jack Henry on Christmas day. Tessa seemed to be the sickest but was back to running around her backyard on Christmas day.
So far Cary and Kyle are negative.
I am fully vaccinated and boosted so keeping my fingers and toes crossed that I will still be negative.
Christmas for me and for Katy has been postponed until January when we will hopefully be able to all get together as a family.
Katy, Tessa, and I were able to be on FaceTime for a couple of hours on Christmas Day, and Tessa and I FaceTimed on Christmas eve to track Santa.
We also played the games on the tracker site and Tessa patiently tried to explain to me what I was doing wrong.
Shhhh don't tell anyone, but today is my birthday. No, I am not revealing my ancient age, but what I am doing is having an after-Christmas sale in my Etsy shop.

ReplyDeleteOh I hope everyone will be OK. Sounds like they are having mild cases, which is so good! I pray ou don't get it. Many people I know who were vaccinated, also got Covid! So weird. Take care of yourself, and Happy Birthday! rest, relax and just do nothing if you don't want to. Our special days mean we do (or don't do) whatever we want! Hugs.. Marilyn

ReplyDeleteI'm so sorry to hear your grandkids have Covid. The people that I know that have Covid right now (my niece included) have all been vaxxed, too. Go figure. I hope you don't end up getting it.
