HOME TOUR: ENGLISH COTTAGE STYLE IN A BATTERSEA LONDON FLAT

In the middle of London, Octavia Dickenson has conjured up an English country cottage in a basement Battersea flat. It's the best of two worlds.

The entrance to the sitting room sets the tone for the apartment with antiques and prints.

The sitting room is layered with comfortable furniture, fabric, and art against a background of pink and magenta.

Choosing her kitchen counter decorations carefully, she has definitely achieved the feel of a country cottage.

The kitchen table, chairs, and shelving continue the theme.

This is decorating after my own heart, where plates decorate a wall of the bedroom,

as well as the bathroom.

I love this touch in the bedroom, where wardrobe doors are lined with a pretty fabric.

It may be in the middle of London, but every English cottage needs a charming garden spot.
