A heavy spring rain is washing my window panes this morning. I love its sound as I drink my morning cup of tea.

I sit and think about the days ahead. Days that will bring more spring rains, but also days that are warmer.

Days to get out and explore country roads again. To go to places where I may have never been.

To smell the sweet aromas of spring and to know that what has been a world lacking in color is bursting forth again.

Oh, the promises are there. I can feel them working there way into my soul, giving me renewed energy.

  1. Beautiful photos Laura! What is that gorgeous white blooming vine called? It's milder here for a couple days then more snow on Sunday. We are so longing for the snow to start to melt but we keep getting more on top of it. Hopefully it will end soon and we can start to feel warmth and spring rain and sunshine. Have a lovely weekend.

  2. Thank you, Pamela. I am not sure what that flowering vine is. Maybe Trumpet vine? Hopefully one of my readers can help. I hope your snow melts soon.

  5. Good morning, Laura.
I am catching up with you as I sip my coffee this morning. I am glad to hear that your Mom is out of the hospital and recovering. I hope that you are feeling better today. You have been capturing some lovely images to share with all of us.
Our first three days of Spring brought us sunshine, but the rains have returned. Our region has been plagued with landslides. The most recent was tragic. It's story has been all over the national news. I think our whole country is ready to dry out and shine once again!
    Take care and feel better.
