So today I am dreaming of garden fences.
I am in love with rustic fences.

So why am I dreaming of fences? Not because I want to be contained, but because of all the promises of gardens on the other side.
Laura, that wire fence is amazing. I can do without the huge pencils though. I too am dreaming of spring. It is coming, isn't it?
ReplyDeleteRustic, twig and wire all get my vote. I'd have roses growing on them and over them and honeysuckle too. My fences would entirely designed to draw people in. Sue

beautiful fences and its a beautiful thought, I made a twig fence once, it was a lot of work!
ReplyDeleteI think the pencil fence is really cute!
ReplyDeleteOh you and me both! Any time now Spring, ...hustle your little booty on down this way and MELT ALL OF THE SNOW PILED ALL OVER MY YARD!!!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteI love these gates and / or fences.
Fun fences! I like the rustic looking one, too. And the bicycle gate is really unique!
ReplyDeleteThis was a fun post! I always long to go inside a lovely gate and see what kind of garden is there! They are intriguing ~ love the bicycle! Hope you are feeling better and able to go outside soon!
ReplyDeletehugs,
Linda
I love that old wire fence! I am dreaming of spring and ordering seeds from catalogs!
ReplyDeleteOh- Thank you for sharing all those wonderful fences and gates. Don't you love the whimsy of some of them? xo Diana
ReplyDeleteI love them all, but the old wire fence really makes my heart sing.

Love all those fences you found. I'm not even dreaming of spring yet. It's suppose to be 10 to 20 below windchill tonight and we have blowing snow causing white out conditions. Then we are supposed to get more snow Thursday. So it's going to be a long time before we see any pretty gardens behind our fences.
ReplyDeleteI hope you are doing well though and able to get out and enjoy that 60 degree weather!
Awh, thank you Laura! You are so nice to little moi!
ReplyDeleteLove all these fences!!

I always think of Robert Frost's poem, Mending Wall, when I think of fences.
ReplyDeleteHe says again, "Good fences make good neighbors."
Thanks for showing us that good fences come in many styles.
